Resumo

O presente texto é uma síntese de uma palestra ministrada numa conferência de pastores, realizada na Alemanha, sobre o debate a respeito do papel da mulher na Igreja. É abordado o papel da mulher no mundo helenístico, no judaísmo e no contexto do Novo Testamento. O texto analisa também algumas das passagens mais complexas relacionadas ao tema.

THE SERVICE OF THE WOMAN IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

This text is a summary of a lecture given at a conference of ministers held in Germany, on the debate about the role of women in the Church. It discussed the role of women in the Hellenistic world, in Judaism and in the context of the New Testament. The text also analyzes some of the most complex passages related to the topic.
