O SALMOS E O HESED DE DEUS

Resumo

Este trabalho de cunho bibliográfico e qualitativo tem como objetivo apresentar os significados do termo hebraico hesed, utilizado em muitos livros do Antigo Testamento, como no livro poético de Salmos, pensando nas formas que ele é usado e qual o entendimento existente sobre ele também se aprofundou no Salmo de número 25. O termo hesed fala sobre o amor de Deus, para aqueles que estão dentro do pacto divino, mostrando sua fidelidade e bondade com o povo. Para isso, foi buscado na literatura existente sobre o assunto para compreender de forma significativa o que foi proposto. O trabalho utilizou a obra de comentaristas e teólogos como: Moody, Garofalo, Tozer, Wiersbe, Pfeiffer, entre outros escritores e pesquisadores, que discorrem sobre o hebraico e Salmos. O trabalho foi dividido em dois pontos, o primeiro fala sobre o termo hesed; o segundo aborda sobre o livro de Salmos, quais versículos contém o termo em hebraico e aprofunda o estudo no Salmo de número 25. Por fim, conclui-se sobre a importância de aprender sobre o hebraico para conseguir ler os escritos do Antigo Testamento de forma mais efetiva e profunda. Saber sobre o hesed é o início desse estudo mais aprofundado na Bíblia.

The Psalms and the Hesed of God

Abstract: This bibliographical and qualitative work aims to present the meanings of the Hebrew term hesed, used in many books of the Old Testament, such as the poetic book of Psalms, thinking about the ways in which it is used and what understanding exists about it, also, went deeper into psalm number 25. The term hesed talks about God's love, for those who are within the divine pact, showing his faithfulness and kindness to the people. To achieve this, more information on the subject was sought in the existing literature to meaningfully understand what was proposed. The work used the work of commentators and theologians such as: Moody, Garofalo, Tozer, Wiersbe, Pfeiffer, among other writers and researchers, on Hebrew and psalms. The work was divided into two points, the first talks about the term hesed; the second deals with the book of psalms, which verses contain the term in Hebrew and deepens the study on psalm 25. Finally, conclude on the importance of learning about Hebrew to be able to read the writings of the Old Testament in a more effective and profound way, knowing about hesed is the beginning of this deeper study in the Bible.
