A INSERÇÃO DA COMUNIDADE BATISTA NO PROCESSO MOBILIZADOR CONTRA A CORRUPÇÃO

Resumo

Hoje, no Brasil, uma das questões que mais circula na sociedade e na mídia diz respeito à corrupção. Infelizmente, este é o mal que se alojou no contexto político e que se reflete em esquemas firmados em acordos, enriquecimento ilícito, desvio de dinheiro, jogos de interesse, pagamentos de propinas, tráfico de influência, aparelhamento do Estado, sucateamento de empresas estatais e superfaturamento de obras públicas. Diante deste triste cenário, este ensaio analisa a inserção da comunidade batista brasileira na defesa da ética e dos valores constitucionais, a partir de seu posicionamento mobilizador em manifestos, promoção de palestras e adesão às propostas de defesa do bem coletivo. Pensa-se na ideia da mobilização como estratégia legitimadora da justiça social e que por isso mesmo pode resultar na construção de ações que fomentem o debate público, assim como sua presença na realidade social, o que derruba os muros da não interferência da Igreja em questões do Estado. Nesta linha de raciocínio, questiona-se: Até que ponto o envolvimento da comunidade batista resulta em ações que impactam a sociedade? E, ainda: Como estas ações podem ser consideradas expressões legítimas de uma luta por justiça social? Para fundamentar a análise, adotam-se os aportes teóricos de autores que transitam pela área da política, da religião, da ética e da justiça. Estes autores tecem argumentos que de certa forma favorecem a compreensão sobre o fazer de homens e mulheres que coabitam o interior dos diferentes grupos sociais. A intenção deste trabalho tem natureza introdutória, mas isso não retira a seriedade metodológica com que são tecidas as argumentações sobre o objeto em questão. O certo é que todo o ato de conscientização se inicia por uma prática mobilizadora que carrega uma bandeira social. O sentido dado a isto pode ser um passo em direção a um objetivo traçado. Que seja este em nome da transformação da sociedade brasileira ou, quem sabe, da forma como esta mesma sociedade se posicionará diante da ação política exercida.

THE INSERTION OF THE BAPTIST COMMUNITY IN THE MOBILIZATION PROCESS AGAINST CORRUPTION

ABSTRACT

Nowadays, in Brazil, one of the most transiting questions in both the society and the media regards to the corruption. Unfortunately, this is the evil lodged in the political context, reflecting in schemes firmed in deals, unlawful enrichment, embezzlement, games of interest, bribe, influence trade, takeover of the State, negligence of state-owned enterprises and overbilling of public works. In face of this sorrowful scenario, this assay analyses the insertion of the Brazilian Baptist community on the defense of the ethics and the constitutional values, starting in its mobiliser positioning in manifests, promotion of lectures and accession to the motions of welfare defense. The mobilization idea is thought as a legitimating strategy of the social justice, therefor may result in the construction of actions which foment the public debate as well as its presence in the social reality, knocking down the walls of the non-interference of the church in State matters. In this line of reasoning is questioned: till what point the involvement of the Baptist community result in actions that impact the society and yet, how this actions can be considered legitimate expressions of a struggle for social justice? To fundament the analysis, are taken the theoretical contribution of authors from politics, religion, ethics and justice areas. These authors construct arguments that somehow favor the comprehension about the doing of men and women who cohabit in different social groups. The intention of this work has an introductory nature, but it doesn”t take the methodologic seriousness in which are construct the arguments about the objet in question. Is known every act of awareness starts by a mobilizing practice which carries a social flag. The meaning given to it can be a step towards an established objective. May this be in favor of the Brazilian society transformation, or who knows, of the manner this society will stand face the exerted political action.
