LA SUFICIENCIA DE LAS ESCRITURAS Y LA CONTINUIDAD DE LAS REVELACIONES

Resumo

Los cristianos evangélicos están de acuerdo en que Dios se ha revelado a su pueblo de diversas maneras y en una forma progresiva. Pero no todos concuerdan en el hecho de que en estos postreros días ya el Señor no se comunica con su pueblo a través de profecías y sueños, sino que lo hace por medio de su Palabra escrita. Ante esta disyuntiva debemos preguntarnos si Dios continua trayendo nuevas revelaciones, o si la Biblia es su ciente para regular la fe y la conducta del creyente individual y la Iglesia.

The Suficiency of the Scriptures and the Continuity of the Revelations

ABSTRACT

Evangelical Christians agree that God has revealed himself to his peoplein various ways and in a progressive way. But not all agree on the fact that in these last days the Lord does not communicate with his people through prophecies and dreams, but he does so through his written Word. Faced with this dilemma, we must ask ourselves if God continues to bring new revelations, or if the Bible is su cient to regulate the faith and behavior of the individual believer and the Church.
