O Livro dos Salmos e o lugar dos sentimentos na espiritualidade bíblica

Resumo

O presente artigo tem como finalidade discutir a leitura do Livro de Salmos, considerando o fato de ser produção de homens que falam a Deus, por meio de orações e hinos. Diante de sua natureza poética e sua pessoalidade, o Livro de Salmos apresenta desafios em sua interpretação. A presente pesquisa visa compreender e interpretar textos canônicos, reconhecidos como Palavra de Deus, por meio dos quais homens falam a Deus com forte emprego de expressões subjetivas. Assim, neste artigo, interessa-nos evidenciar a interferência das emoções na leitura do Livro de Salmos e entender o lugar dessa função emotiva da linguagem na composição das Escrituras para a compreensão dos Salmos como textos poéticos, que expressam as emoções humanas na vida religiosa do povo de Deus.

The Book of Psalms and the place of emotions in biblical spirituality

ABSTRACT

This article aims to discuss the text meaning of the Book of Psalms, since they are men´s swords who speak to God through prayers and hymns. In view of its poetic nature and its personality, the Book of Psalms presents challenges in its interpretation. This research aims to understand how to understand and interpret a canonical text, recognized as the Word of God, composed of texts where men speak to God, composed by various human emotional expressions. Thus, in this article, we are interested in highlighting the interference of human emotions in reading of the Book of Psalms, understanding the place of human emotions in the poetic composition in the Scriptures for the understanding of the poetic texts in Psalms and how the Psalms express the place of emotions in the religious life of God's people
