Jó: uma abordagem para a pastoral

Resumo

Lidar com situações de sofrimento humano é tarefa cotidiana na atuação pastoral e de cuidado. No livro de Jó o sofrimento humano ocupa papel importante. O artigo aborda o livro de Jó em perspectiva literário-teológica destacando as relações entre as personagens humanas, especificamente entre Elifaz, Bildade, Zofar, Eliú e Jó (Jó 3-37), objetivando propor ações e caminhos pastorais diante do sofrimento. Nesta direção, destacam-se o reconhecimento do limite da teologia implícita do cuidador, deixar falar e ouvir aquele que sofre e fazer-se presente como posturas de cuidado pastoral. Neste contexto, as relações de cuidado são acompanhadas, também, pelos seguintes riscos: colocar-se como defensor de Deus, oferecer respostas mecanicistas e gerar um afastamento na relação de cuidado.

Job: an approach to pastoral

Abstract: Human suffering is a daily task in pastoral and care work and plays an important role in the book of Job. The article approaches the book of Job from a literary-theological perspective, highlighting the relationships between human characters, specifically between Eliphaz, Bildad, Zophar, Elihu and Job (Job 3-37). Proposes actions and pastoral paths in the face of suffering. In this direction, the recognition of the limit of the implicit theology of the caregiver stands out, allowing the person who suffers to speak and listen and being present as postures of pastoral care. In this context, care relationships are also accompanied by the following risks: placing oneself as a defender of God, offering mechanistic responses and generating a distancing in the care relationship.
