CRÍTICA TEXTUAL DO NOVO TESTAMENTO: ALTERAÇÕES NO TEXTO DO NOVO TESTAMENTO NOS ESCRITOS DE BART EHRMAN: CORRUPÇÃO NOS DADOS OU NA LEITURA DOS MESMOS?
Resumo
Bart D. Ehrman é um renomado estudioso do Novo Testamento na atualidade. Nos últimos anos, ele tem escrito livros para o público leigo em geral. Nesses ele discorre sobre as alterações ocorridas no texto do Novo Testamento ao longo dos séculos. Ele o faz, contudo, a partir de uma das escolhas de leituras possíveis dos dados à disposição. Por meio do presente artigo, o autor objetiva identificar duas colocações frequentes acerca do número de variantes textuais, presentes nos manuscritos disponíveis, e da natureza destas variantes; analisá-las sob a ótica de quatro autores expoentes no campo da crítica textual, sendo eles: Wallace, Metzger, Paroschi e os Aland; e demonstrar que o referido estudioso faz uma leitura parcial e tendenciosa, dos dados disponíveis acerca das alterações textuais do Novo Testamento, em seus livros destinados ao público geral.

Textual Critic of the New Testament: changes in the text of the New Testament in the Bart Ehrman writings: data corruption or reading of them?
ABSTRACT
Bart D. Ehrman is a renowned scholar of the New Testament. In the recent years he has written books to the general public. In these books he talks about the modifications of the text of the New Testament along the centuries. However, he does it from one of the several possible options for the reading of the available data. In this present article, the objective of this author is to identify two frequent propositions about the number of the textual variants in the manuscripts and the nature of those variants; analyze these two propositions from the point of view of four other famous scholars, which are Wallace, Metzger, Paroschi and the Aland”s; demonstrate that Ehrman does a partial reading of the available data on the modifications of the text of the New Testament in his books which are target to the general public.
