IGREJA RELEVANTE: PRATICANDO PRINCÍPIOS DA IGREJA MISSIONAL

Resumo

Este artigo relata o planejamento de um seminário, denominado “igreja relevante: praticando princípios da igreja missional”, com ele, apresentou-se à 2a Igreja Batista Independente o conceito de igreja missional e seus desdobramentos. O trabalho surgiu da seguinte pergunta norteadora: “qual a melhor forma de capacitar a 2a Igreja Batista Independente sobre o conceito de igreja missional?” O trabalho foi subsidiado pela perspectiva da igreja missional; para isso, recorreu-se a autores que contribuem para a compreensão do tema, como: Goheen, Wright e Keller. Primeiramente, descreveu-se o contexto de inserção da 2a Igreja Batista Independente, levando em conta, tanto sua localização geográfica, quanto sua estrutura denominacional. Posteriormente, fundamentou-se o conceito de igreja missional, em diálogo com os termos evangelho, cultura e cosmovisão. A pesquisa é norteada pela metodologia pesquisa-ação, diante da possibilidade da construção de planos de ações em conjunto com o público-alvo. Assim, a partir da análise do contexto social e do tema igreja missional, elaborou-se formulário que reuniu planos de intervenção da igreja na sociedade de Marechal Cândido Rondon / PR. Desta forma, encorajou-se a comunidade cristã a ser missional, em todos os seus ministérios e atividades. Como resultado, observou-se que o seminário “Igreja Relevante: praticando princípios da igreja missional”, pode ser uma possibilidade para tal capacitação. A pesquisa é aplicável tanto à 2a Igreja Batista Independente de Marechal Cândido Rondon quanto a outras igrejas de cidades diversas, ressalvadas as devidas contextualizações.

Relevant Church: practicing principles of the missional church

ABSTRACT

This paper reports the planning of a seminar about the missional church approach. With it, was presented to the 2nd Independent Baptist Church the concept of missional church and its development. The idea came from the problem: how to enable the 2nd Independent Baptist Church to understand the concepts of the missional church? The authors on which this research is based are Goheen, Wright, and Keller. First of all, is described the context of the 2nd Independent Baptist Church, considering the geographic location of the church and its denominational structure. After that, the missional church concept was presented in a dialogue with the terms Gospel, culture, and worldview. The research is guided by the methodological approach research-action, faced with the possibility of a development of an action plan together with the target audience. Starting with the analysis of the social context and the missional church subject, a form with guidelines to actions of the church in the society of Marechal Cândido Rondon was created. The church community was encouraged to be missional in all its ministries and activities. As a result, was observed that the seminar “Relevant Church: practicing the principles of the missional church” can be used to equip churches. The research can be applied not only to the 2nd Independent Baptist Church of Marechal Cândido Rondon but also to other churches in different cities, paying attention to the necessity of contextualization.
