Este artigo tem como objetivo geral fazer uma reflexão sobre o discipulado com base na definição de termos, textos e particularidades bíblicas encontradas no ministério de Cristo, com o objetivo de investigar o que se entende por discipulado atualmente e quais eram as características do adotado por Jesus. Por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, mediante reflexão com base nos autores: Bonhoeffer, Willard, Houston, dentre outros, procura-se realizar a fundamentação desta prática. Nesta investigação evidenciam-se, ainda, características peculiares do discipulado de Jesus, que podem ser aplicadas na atividade hodierna, pois trará relevância no processo de discipulado. Destaca-se, ainda, que a base para a formação do caráter cristão está diretamente ligada ao discipulado. Assim, propõe-se uma reflexão sobre o mesmo e de como pode ser trabalhado o cuidado pastoral das comunidades e em um programa de discipulado.

Reflection on the characteristics of the discipleship adopted by Jesus

ABSTRACT

This article aims to be a reflection on discipleship, based on the definition of terms, texts and biblical particularities found in the ministry of Christ, in order to investigate what is currently understood by discipleship and what were the characteristics of the discipleship adopted by Jesus. Through both, a bibliographical research and reflection based on authors as Bonhoeffer, Willard, Houston, and others, was built a practical foundation of this practice. In this investigation, there are also peculiar characteristics of Jesus' discipleship, which can be applied in today's activity, since it will bring relevance in the process of discipleship. It is also emphasised that the basis for the formation of the Christian character is directly linked to discipleship. Thus, it is proposed a reflection on this topic and how the pastoral care of the communities can be worked in a program of discipleship.
