Cosmovisão Cristã Bíblica sobre o crescimento da igreja e seu impacto na vida social

Resumo

RESUMO

O presente artigo ressalta a relevância da cosmovisão bíblica sobre o crescimento de igreja, assim como seu impacto na esfera da vida social. A finalidade demarcada objetiva analisar o impacto do crescimento da igreja no contexto da vida social, a partir de uma perspectiva bíblica, no sentido de resgatar a essência da razão de ser da igreja, não só como organismo vivo, mas também como instituição. Assim, questiona-se: até que ponto o crescimento da igreja, a partir do viés da cosmovisão bíblica, afeta a vida social? Para tal discussão, são explicitados os conceitos de cosmovisão bíblica, crescimento e igreja e que podem ser encontrados nos estudos de Schwarz (2010); Mills (2010; 2011); Carter, James (2010); Robinson (2003); Enns (2014); e Santos (2017). Com isso, o presente trabalho não se constitui como um projeto acabado, porquanto não se pretende esgotar o objeto eleito nesta temática, mas dar início ao processo argumentativo sobre a cosmovisão bíblica atinente ao crescimento da igreja e seu impacto na sociedade circundante, na medida em que se ressalta que a igreja deve cumprir efetivamente sua missão de influenciar a vida de pessoas, uma vez que ela exerce sua real função, ou seja, a de não apenas tornar Jesus conhecido por meio da proclamação da palavra, mas adotar um estilo de vida diferente, que exale o perfume real do amor de Deus, como fator de atratividade para os perdidos.

Biblical Christian Cosmovision on church growth and its impact on social life

ABSTRACT

The present article highlights the relevance of the biblical worldview on church growth as well as its impact on the sphere of social life. The profound purpose aims to analyze the impact of the church growth in the context of social life from a biblical perspective in order to rescue the essence of the church's ideals, which is not being just a living organism but as a social reference institution. So, the following question is raised: to what extent does the growth of the church from the bias of the biblical worldview affect overall social life? For this discussion the concepts of biblical worldview, growth and church are explained and can be found in Schwarz's (2010) studies; Mills (2010; 2011); Carter, James (2010); Robinson (2003); Enns (2014); and Santos (2017).Thus, the present work is a work in progress, because it is not intended to exhaust the object chosen on this topic, but to begin the argumentative process on the biblical worldview related to the growth of the church and its impact in the surrounding society, in so far as it stands out that the church must effectively fulfill its mission to influence the lives of people, since it exercises its real function, that is, not only to make Jesus known through the proclamation of the bible, but to adopt a different lifestyle that exhales the real perfume of God's love as a key factor of attractiveness for the lost.
