AMY CARMICHAEL: UMA VERDADEIRA MÃE PARA AS CRIANÇAS DA ÍNDIA!

Resumo

O presente artigo abordou a história de vida de Amy Carmichael. Relatou a trajetória da missionária desde a infância até a morte, mostrando o agir de Deus através de sua vida, além de abordar todo o trabalho realizado na Índia por ela e as demais mulheres que se dedicavam a resgatar crianças em situação de risco. A missionária empregou sua vida ao serviço no Reino de Deus, com isso colheu inúmeros frutos, abençoou a vida de homens, mulheres e crianças. Seu empenho nunca se limitou somente a área social, ela se preocupava em anunciar o Evangelho, para que o “Ide” ordenado por Jesus fosse cumprido.

Amy Carmichael: a real mother for the children of India!

Abstract: This article covered the life history of Amy Carmichael. It related the missionary's trajectory from childhood to death, showing the action of God throughout her life, in addition to addressing all the work done in India by her and the other women who were dedicated to rescue children at risk. The missionary used her life for service in the Kingdom of God, and because of that sowed much fruit and blessed the lives of men, women and children. Her effort, however, was never limited only to social matters. She worried about proclaiming the Gospel, so that the “Go” ordered by Jesus was accomplished.
