O jovem que veio do interior, e que mesmo sem nenhum ensino teológico assumiu uma igreja muito novo, mal sabia o que Deus preparara para ele. Foi escritor, pastor, evangelista e acima da tudo, servo do Senhor. Fundou diversas instituições e alcançou números extraordinários durante todo seu ministério.

Abstract: The following biographical work relates the life and work of Charles Haddon Spurgeon, as well as of his wife Susannah. The young man who came from the countryside, and who even without any theological teaching and in early age, took on a church, barely knew what God had prepared for him. He was a writer, pastor, evangelist, and above all a servant of the Lord. He founded several institutions and achieved extraordinary numbers throughout his ministry.
