O NOVO ESTADO DE ISRAEL: UM FENÔMENO HISTÓRICO SEM PRECEDENTES

Resumo

O artigo analisa a formação e manutenção da nação de Israel em 1948 como fenômeno histórico sem precedentes. São expostos o antijudaísmo e a perseguição histórica aos judeus, que culminaram no Holocausto na Segunda Guerra Mundial, mas que existiram tanto antes quanto muito depois desse período. Como continuação do antijudaísmo, são observadas as duas primeiras guerras do conflito Árabe-israelense, desencadeado com a declaração de independência de Israel.

The new State of Israel: an unprecedented historical phenomenon

ABSTRACT: The present article analyzes the formation and the maintenance of the nation of Israel in 1948 as a non-preceded historical phenomenon. The anti-Judaism and the historical persecution of the Jews, which culminated on the World War 2 Holocaust, but took place before as much as after this period, were exposed. The two first wars of the Arab-Israeli conflict are observed as a continuation of the anti-Judaism, initiated by the Israeli declaration of independence.
