O TESOURO LITERÁRIO E TEOLÓGICO DAS 7 FRASES DA CRUZ

Resumo

Este artigo consiste em um estudo dos sete versículos que registram as últimas frases de Jesus antes de sua cruel morte na cruz. Os versículos são apresentados na versão Nova Almeida Atualizada e, para uma análise do texto, os contextos histórico e literário são abordados, de forma a serem destacadas as características principais de cada versículo, seu significado e a importância para a Teologia. Em suas últimas palavras, Jesus orou por seus inimigos, salvou um ladrão arrependido, encaminhou sua mãe aos cuidados de seu discípulo de maior confiança, revelou a aflição espiritual e física que suportou para cumprir seu propósito, proferiu um grito de vitória e, por fim, se rendeu absoluta e completamente ao desejo do Pai.

The literary and theological treasury of the 7 phrases of the cross

Abstract: This article consists of a study of the seven verses in which the last recorded sentences of Jesus are registered before his cruel death on the cross. The verses are presented in the Nova Almeida Atualizada version and, for an analysis of the text, the historical and literary contexts are approached, in order to highlight the main characteristics of each verse, its meaning and importance for Theology. In his last words, Jesus prayed for his enemies, saved a repentant thief, sent his mother into the care of his most trusted disciple, revealed the spiritual and physical affliction he endured to fulfill his purpose, uttered a cry of victory, and, finally, he surrendered absolutely and completely to the Father's desire.
