DISTANCIAMENTO SOCIAL E AS VELHAS E NOVAS FORMAS DE EVANGELIZAR

Resumo

O presente artigo analisou as “novas velhas formas” de evangelizar no contexto atual da pandemia do novo Coronavírus, formas essas que já eram conhecidas e utilizadas pela igreja para cumprir sua missão e que se mostram eficazes em qualquer circunstância. A compreensão das consequências do distanciamento social na população em geral, as oportunidades de evangelizar que surgiram, e as novas velhas formas de evangelizar são essenciais para mostrar como a igreja pode ser relevante e cumprir sua missão mesmo no cenário da pandemia.

Social distancing and the old and new ways of evangelizing

Abstract: This study examined the “new old ways” of evangelizing in the current context of the new Coronavirus pandemic, ways that were already known and used by the church to fulfill its mission and were proven effective under any circumstance. Understanding the consequences of social distancing in the general population, the opportunities to evangelize that have arisen, and the new old ways for the church to fulfill its mission, are essential to show how the church can be relevant and fulfill its mission even in the context of the pandemic.
