A PALAVRA CORAÇÃO NO LIVRO DE SALMOS: RESGATANDO A IDENTIDADE HUMANA EM UM MUNDO FRAGMENTADO

Resumo

O presente artigo demonstra que a crise da humanidade vivida em tempos hodiernos é, antes de tudo, antropológica, envolvendo a má compreensão do que vem a ser a natureza humana, qual sua origem e constituição. A modernidade fragmentou o ser humano em tantas partes quanto se pode imaginar, ao mesmo tempo em que transportou para o indivíduo o fardo de pertencer a si mesmo. Definir uma identidade, proporcionar sentido e propósito à sua existência, além de viver uma vida autêntica e autônoma, são apenas algumas das facetas desse tremendo peso que a humanidade impôs a si. Nesse sentido, a antropologia bíblica possui um papel fundamental em descortinar o que o ser humano é e a quem ele pertence. A palavra coração no livro de Salmos ajudará a revelar o que as Sagradas Escrituras dizem acerca do dilema humano e qual o único ser capaz de resolvê-lo.

The word heart in the book of Psalms: rescuing human identity in a fragmented world

Abstract: The present article shows that the crisis of humanity experienced in modern times is first and foremost anthropological, involving a misunderstanding of what human nature is in its origin and constitution. Modernity has fragmented the human being into as many parts as can be imagined, while at the same it has placed on the individual the burden of belonging to oneself. To define an identity, to provide meaning and purpose to one’s existence, as well as to live an authentic and autonomous life, are just some of the facets of this tremendous weight that humanity has imposed on itself. In this sense, biblical anthropology has a fundamental role in unveiling what the human beings are and to whom they belong. The word heart in the book of Psalms will help to revel what the Holy Scriptures speak about the human dilemma and who is the only being capable of resolving it.
