MULHERES IDOSAS NO CONTEXTO BÍBLICO: UMA QUESTÃO DE VALOR E CUIDADO

Resumo

O presente artigo apresenta exemplos de mulheres que foram extraídos da narrativa bíblica por sua influência no desenvolvimento da fé e que esclarecem sobre a relevância da sua inserção e participação, na medida em que lhe é atribuído um papel que pode ser designado ao serviço do Senhor. Observa-se a necessidade de abordar sobre o fenômeno envelhecimento à luz das Escrituras, visto que apresentam princípios e valores que precisam ser aplicados nos relacionamentos, ao mesmo tempo em que alerta para comportamentos e atitudes que podem afetar o equilíbrio bio-psico-espiritual dos que se encontram nesta fase da vida. O problema parte da seguinte pergunta: como as mulheres idosas são descritas nas Escrituras e de que forma sua instrumentalidade pode trazer ensinos para a igreja? A metodologia da pesquisa parte de uma abordagem qualitativa do estudo sobre o fenômeno eleito. Ainda, lança mão da pesquisa do tipo bibliográfico e exploratório, uma vez que muitas reflexões são frutos de deduções, a partir da leitura da narrativa bíblica escolhida. Percebe-se que falar sobre a mulher na terceira idade é algo essencial para compreender que não existe limitação quanto à faixa etária no serviço cristão, antes, a instrumentalidade parte de um coração disposto e que compreenda a missão confiada. Essa é a proposta a ser perseguida no artigo.

Elderly women in the biblical context: a matter of value and care

Abstract: This article presents examples of women taken from the biblical narrative for their influence on the development of faith and which elucidate the relevance of their inclusion and participation, as they are given a role that can be assigned to the service of the Lord. There is a need to address the phenomenon of aging in the light of the Scriptures, since they present principles and values that need to be applied in relationships, simultaneously alerting about behaviors and attitudes that can affect the bio-psycho-spiritual balance of those at this stage of life. The problem is based on the following question: how are elderly women described in the Scriptures and how can their instrumentality bring teachings to the church? The research methodology is based on a qualitative approach of the study of the chosen phenomenon. It also uses bibliographical and exploratory research, since many reflections are the result of deductions based on the reading of the chosen biblical narrative. It is noticeable that talking about women in old age is essential to understand that there is no age limit in Christian service, rather, instrumentality comes from a willing heart that understands the mission entrusted to it. This is the proposal to be pursued in this article.
