CONCEITOS E DEFINIÇÕES DO DISCIPULADO INTENCIONAL E DA SUA PRÁTICA NO CONTEXTO CELULAR DA IGREJA LOCAL

Resumo

O artigo explora o conceito e as definições do discipulado, destacando sua intencionalidade em influenciar a vida das pessoas por meio dos relacionamentos. A questão norteadora apresenta a seguinte problemática: de que maneira o discipulado pode ser desenvolvido no contexto eclesiástico por intermédio de uma perspectiva intencional? Para que se possa produzir os argumentos, elegeu-se a pesquisa do tipo bibliográfico e descritivo, a partir da abordagem qualitativa. Descreveu-se o sentido do discipulado e sua correlação com a Grande Comissão. Ainda, é exposto o alerta diante da não observância de fazer discípulos, visto que tal missão guarda correspondência com o seguir ou não a Cristo. Conclui-se que o discipulado é de suma relevância para o processo de crescimento e desenvolvimento do reino, portanto, é preciso efetivá-lo para que a verdade do evangelho seja conhecida e nesse ato conduza ao arrependimento e a nova vida com Cristo.

Concepts and definitions of intentional discipleship and its practice in the cellular context of the local church

Abstract: This article explores the concept and the definitions of discipleship, highlighting its intentionality in influencing people’s lives through relationships. The guiding question presents the following problem: in which way can discipleship be developed in the ecclesiastical context through an intentional perspective? In order to elaborate the arguments, a bibliographical and descriptive research was chosen, based on a qualitative approach. The meaning of discipleship and its correlation with the Great Commission were described. In addition, the warning against not making disciples is exposed, since this mission corresponds to following or not following Christ. It concludes that discipleship is of the greatest importance for the process of growth and development of the kingdom, therefore, it must be carried out for the truth of the gospel to be known and for this act to lead to repentance and a new life with Christ.
