ALGUMAS TRADUÇÕES E SIGNIFICADOS ATRIBUÍDOS AO TERMO CORAÇÃO NO CONTEXTO BÍBLICO DO ANTIGO E NOVO TESTAMENTOS

Resumo

A proposta deste artigo é mostrar como o entendimento de algumas traduções efetivadas das palavras leb, lebab e cardia podem ser atribuídas a uma dimensão da vida associada ao termo “coração” no contexto das Escrituras. Apresenta-se, portanto, alguns dos significados atribuídos ao termo coração e que podem ser expressos nas dimensões cognitiva, emocional, espiritual, social e física, os quais implicam na vida do ser humano. Os significados traduzidos ajudam na compreensão sobre o sentido de ser da vida humana e de suas dimensões, as quais são referendadas pela cosmovisão bíblica, cuja finalidade é possibilitar leituras e interpretações direcionadas ao trabalho a ser efetivado no aconselhamento pastoral. Diante disto, a questão norteadora tem por finalidade indagar sobre que traduções do termo coração são encontradas nas Escrituras e como isso se articula com o aconselhamento bíblico diante das dimensões da vida. A metodologia da pesquisa eleita é do tipo bibliográfico e explicativo com uma abordagem qualitativa. Conclui-se que em um aconselhamento bíblico deve-se levar em conta o que está por detrás do comportamento (coração): quais são os desejos, ambições, vontades, quais as perspectivas sobre Deus e sobre si mesmo.

Some translations and meanings attributed to the term heart in the biblical context of the Old and New Testaments

Abstract: The proposal of this article is to show how the understanding of some translations of the words leb, lebab e cardia can be attributed to a dimension of life associated with the term “heart” in the context of the Scriptures. There are therefore presented some of the meanings attributed to the term heart and which can be expressed in the cognitive, emotional, spiritual, social and physical dimensions, all of which affect the human life. The translated meanings help in the understanding of the meaning of human life and its dimensions, which are referenced by the biblical worldview, whose purpose is to enable readings and interpretations aimed at the work to be carried out in pastoral counseling. In view of this, the guiding question aims to investigate which translations of the term heart are found in the Scriptures and how this is articulated with biblical counseling in relation to the dimensions of life. The chosen research methodology is bibliographical and explanatory, with a qualitative approach. It is concluded that in biblical counseling it is necessary to take into account what is behind the behavior (heart): what are the desires, ambitions, wishes, what are the perspectives on God and on oneself.
