A ORIGEM DO TERMO APÓSTOLO NO CONTEXTO NEOTESTAMENTÁRIO

Resumo

O escrito deste artigo apresenta o conceito do apostolado bíblico, a fim de verificar sua pertinência e aplicação na estrutura organizacional de comunidades eclesiásticas. Os apóstolos se caracterizam por altruísmo, foco na expansão do Reino de Deus e em uma abordagem não autoritária nas igrejas locais, em consonância com os princípios do Novo Testamento. A problemática eleita levanta a seguinte questão: Será que o conceito de apostolado bíblico no processo de organização e orientação das práticas ministeriais é aplicado pelas igrejas locais? Para desenvolver os principais eixos argumentativos que sustentam este estudo, recorreu-se aos aportes teóricos que desenvolvem sua linha argumentativa em defesa ou não da prática do apostolado. O resultado que se alcança sobre ter cautela no uso do termo “apóstolo” na era moderna é a influência de abusos e mal-entendidos, enfatizando a necessidade de um entendimento bíblico e autêntico do apostolado.

The origin of the term apostle in the neotestamentary context

Abstract: This article presents the concept of biblical apostolate in order to verify its relevance and application in the organizational structure of ecclesiastical communities. The apostles are characterized by altruism, a focus on expanding the Kingdom of God and a non-authoritarian approach in the local churches, in line with the New Testament principles. The chosen problem raises the following question: is the concept of biblical apostolate in the process of organizing and guiding ministerial practices applied the by local churches? In order to develop the main lines of argument that base this study, theoretical contributions that develop their line of argument in defense or not of the practice of the apostolate were consulted. The result that has been achieved about being cautious in the use of the term “apostle” In the modern age is the influence of abuses and misunderstandings, emphasizing the need for a biblical and authentic understanding of apostolate.
