PEDRA LAPIDADA: A Transformação de Pedro diante de suas falhas

Resumo

Pedro foi um dos grandes discípulos de Jesus. Ele era aquele homem cheio de falhas e defeitos que Jesus escolhera para transformar. Cristo não estava interessado no que Pedro era, mas sim naquilo que ele iria se tornar. As falhas de Pedro estão visíveis nos evangelhos, é o discípulo que mais aparece errando, ao mesmo tempo é o discípulo que mais arrisca para ter um relacionamento com Jesus. Este artigo busca apresentar o crescimento que Pedro teve diante de suas falhas e como isso o transformou no discípulo que Jesus espera que ele fosse.

ABSTRACT

Peter was one of the biggest disciple of Jesus. He has a man with many faults that Jesus chosen to transform. Christ was not interested in what Peter was, but in what he would be. The Peter”s fault are visible in the gospels and, in those, he is the disciple which appears missing at the same time he is the disciple which try more a relationship with Jesus. This article seeks to present the growth Peter had at his fault and how it transformed him to the disciple whom Jesus expected him to be.
